jasport1So, I’ve had a meltdown. And yet, all other things aside, we’re still headed back into Naxx to finish it up.

So, what to do?

dal_view_from_on_high

When you get thrown from a horse, the sooner you get back on, the faster your recovery. Or so I’ve heard.

So. I logged in. Did my dailies.

jas_tuskarr

Parked at the flightpoint … and waited to see if the GM (who I did apologize directly to) would risk asking me back into a raid.

She did, I went. We had Plague wing and KT left.

starting_sapp

And we steamrolled them. We even got an achievement out of it.

hundredclub

There was one amusing moment, when we started Noth. Or I should say, THEY started Noth. I was in the doorway, apparently just a bit on the outside of the line, and when somebody pulled1, the curtains came down and I found myself on the outside. Worst, they were tanking him in the far corner (as per normal) so I couldn’t even help.  Two adds DID come for me, but I guess I evadebugged on them and they left.

So, at least for some value of ’success’, I succeeded in raiding.  I won’t be on Oprah documenting that any time soon.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Let’s talk about our run. Every boss was a record for us. This raid is no longer a serious challenge to the experienced ones, so we need to look at how to change that up.  I have a couple of thoughts.

  1. Move this to Saturday as a solid block, and then move Ulduar to two or three nights in the week.
  2. Swap out some alts.
  3. Go for the 8-man achievement with the mains.

I’d also like to see us go for EoE soon. I guess I need to practice that stupid quest in Coldarra.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Regarding TotC, I really want to walk away from it and never return. It’s not that it’s hard. It’s that we (a) have most of Ulduar still to do, (b) Ulduar is interesting, (c) TotC is not.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Due to personal matters in RL, much of the guild leadership will be unavailable for raiding this week. I don’t really want to be in the middle of such things, but I know one or three people interested in VoA and that sort of thing, so I probably will help organize them. I’d rather take the week off myself, but being selfish is not the hallmark of a good officer. Bleah.

  1. I have no idea if it was on purpose or not – I wasn’t in Vent. That was one thing that helped keep me sane, not having the chattering in my ear. []

jasport1

I had a very bad feeling about this evening’s Naxx.  Just a vibe.   It turned out, it was completely unfounded. We rolled over three wings and had time for a heroic after.

Our MT and two main DPS were complete beasts. We set guild records for every kill. As an example, Anub went down before the second insect plague. Faerlina’s enrage timer barely went off (after we killed all her acolytes). We had time for two swaps on Four Horsemen, no more.  We HALVED our time on Razz, almost.

That was awesome.

I tried a new healing approach; Renew was only used in special circumstances. Otherwise, I kept to PW:S, Lesser Heal, and Penance when off cooldown. My mana was never in danger of draining.

I’m looking forward to trying this on Iron Council.

jasra_port200Our Naxx run tonight was unusual in that we had more applicants than slots. I did volunteer to sit it out, but there were … personality … issues that would have made that problematic.

The GM actually asked me to lead the raid for a moment … talk about blood running cold!

Don’t get me wrong. I think I could do it, or at least as well as we usually do. But, to quote a former demon hunter … I was not prepared.  I told the GM later that given a warning I will be more than happy to give it a try, and live with the results (likely: fail).

As it was, with three melee DPS, two ranged, three healers, and two tanks, we made it through Arachnid Okay but got hung up on Globbulus. Our melee DPS was taking massive damage, and it was just impossible to keep them up. In retrospect maybe I should have handed out healing assignments, but hindsight is 20/20, eh?

Ah well, a couple of peeps got upgrades, so I am “not prepared” to go emo over that.   Given the conversation that followed in vent I’m actually far from unhappy. Progress has odd little zigs and zags.

gt_portriat200While Jas was hogging the spotlight in Ulduar this week, I was continuing on in Naxx, with a desire to complete it.

Coming out of Military wing, we had Four Horsemen left and I was looking at relatively pleasing numbers with the Stompasaurus. I had some time to prepare, so I took advantage of it.

First up, the laser kitty was leveled to 80, and the peasants rejoiced. Once I had that, it was time to do some numbers, so off I went to Darnasus (because I needed a trainer close by) to do some comparisons. I was troubled to find that the laser kitty lagged behind by around 100 dps. No matter what I tried, it simply wasn’t going to exceed a Stompasaurus properly talented. Incidentally, I found a talent build that added 200 dps to the lizard’s contribution, so it wasn’t a wash.

Thus armed, I returned.

Our first attempt was a wipe when the shammi in the back corner kind of freaked out and died. This was his first time on 4H and he probably panicked. It doesn’t matter how many times you tell people that all they need to do is keep aggro and live, they freak until they experience one good run.

Tenatively, I volunteered to pull out the Bear and take one corner. After all, I had seen the fight through Jas’ eyes, and I know more on the theory of how it could go. Besides, if a tree druid can do it, so can I!

I’m happy to say that it worked like a charm. I just kept autofire on and kept heals on Bumbles, and it just ticked like clockwork.  BM, foshizzle! RAWR.

Construct went smooth as glass, leaving us with Sapphir -

What?

You want Jas to come in to heal Sapph and KT?

Nooooooooo!

/sulk

/sigh

I’ll be over there trying out the ales.

gt_portriat200Onoz teh dramaz

So, remember when I said to enjoy the good times when you have them? The underlying sentiment is that they are all too fleeting.

You know where this is going: I was proven right.

The very next night, one of our long-standing founding members and officers – who has been a constant pain in the codpiece – decided to erupt in /g chat with a pile of obscenities and swearing about how bad pugging on our server was, and our server in generally just sucked. A guildy – OK, it was Mrs. Grimm – snapped back, “well, roll on another server, then.”  He immediately /ragequit.

/sigh

I’m done with him. I’m so done with him that I’m considering leaving the guild and starting my own to house all those that want to have nothing to do with him. That might effectively end OCV, because at this point I don’t know if even the GM would stay behind.

For now I’ll consider my options and mull it over some more. I have to decide why I would even bother starting a guild if this game has gotten to the point where I’m willing to go that far. I mean, maybe it’s time to wrap it up, or at least take another break for a few months. Maybe all I need to do is put him on ignore and be done with him.

In more pleasant news

Much to my surprise, raid night at Naxx proceeded as planned. Even more to my surprise, I was invited. I had Jasra parked there since the priest that we had planned on healing in her place was not on (we found out later: wife aggro).

I was unhappy that I was not able to bring out SDI for the proceeds, but as he’s currently only 78, there would be level aggro all over the place.  So out came Reaganomics, the stompasaurus of economic dooom!

I had a bad moment after the Anub fight. I looked at the damage meter and commented that my DPS was sucking big-time at only 1200. The GM disagreed … then I realized I wasn’t merging pet numbers in, as I had been wanting to see how SDI’s broke out from mine earlier.  Once I merged the numbers, I was much happier with my performance.

I came in 3rd in a relatively weak DPS pack. Our top-flight mage and hunter (SV) were leading with around 3500 and 3000 apiece, then me at 2500, then various melee dps starting around 1900. Our tank1 actually outdid most of the melee DPS, as far as that goes.

Which makes it more astounding how well we ran that raid. We had a couple of wipes, no doubt attributable to some relatively newb blood (including me!), but overall we ran through the place and got 2 1/2 wings done, one of which was Construct, so no ezmode for us.  We got plague wing and Four Horsemen, then we go after KT.

I got two pieces, a neck piece from Anub and a helm from Thadd, which is – by the way – the first helm I’ve had that I wasn’t ashamed to show in a long time. It’s a right proper helm for a Dwarf.

Or the Goddamn Batman.

gt_portriat200A lot of people get bent out of shape if they can’t get all the achievements for all the holidays and thus get what Flora calls “their big purple strap-on.”   (Don’t look at me!) It really does take the fun out of the holidays, but some of those are pretty gruesome, too, forcing one to do unseemly things, such as PvP.

Here at casa de Grimmtooth we prefer less stress (Meta has to watch his blood pressure) so we set our sights on more achievable goals to start with.  For example, the Green Proto-Drake is a rare “hatch” from the egg you buy from the Oracles for two gold and change.  Now, I’ve been buying that egg every time I could since January, for I would guess around 250 gold total. But it paid off. Oh, yes.

green_protodrakeIsn’t she a beauty?1

Jasra and Flora are still working on theirs, but at last I can finally finish off the Oracle line and start working on the Frenzyheart.

Jas’ Naxx raid finished off last night by clearing two and a half wings plus Sapph plus KT. She got her tier shoulders and a new mace. We’re still not sure if it’s in total an upgrade, but probably so.  Each of the fights took longer, though, than they used to. Partly because they had three healers rather than two. On the plus side, healing was easy peasy. On the minus side … slow. Close to enrage timer on a couple of them.

So I’m wondering if Jas or the Shammi healer should step out and let a DPS step in. :: polishes gun ::

Oh, and to any curious visitors from Tam’s .. hi! Don’t forget to set out a new keg if you empty the one that’s out. And don’t mind the snow tiger, he’s harmless as long as you don’t try to pinch the silverware.

  1. Well, might be a he. You have to lift the tail to find out, and that’s one big tail! []

jasra_port200We cleared Naxx 10 in 2 nights and that makes us feel pretty good. It’s amazing what a good tank that knows his stuff can do to move things along. Add to that some DPSers who brought their “A” game and a third healer and we were able to hustle right along. Three wings down the first night – except Thadd – and the rest last night – including Thadd. At least half of them were downed in record time for us.  The worst was Sapph, and that was just the tank getting used to the fight.

He’s well geared and sharp, but experience will win out, and sometimes it takes a couple of wipes to get things right. No biggie, we’ve spent entire nights wiping on her.

When you have a group together that can actually play, you start to pay attention to things other than OMG HE’S GONNA DIE HEAL HEAL HEAL HEAL. Well, actually, a lot of these you notice anyway but when there’s fail everywhere, you just don’t bother. But in a great group, standing in stuff really sticks out. Naturally I am speaking of K’T.

We lost two shammys there. The first was DPS, so it was “Aw crap, one less person ahead of me on the aggro table.”  Stood right there and soaked in the red circle, then just … fell over. I love how they make dying to this look like FAIL distilled.

The second was our third healer, though. Oh, great. Now I gotta pick up his healing assignment. I was unfortunately not able to keep it up full-bore, and the OT went down, but we had K’T down to 2 percent at that point and just finished the job. I love his excuse. “I was too busy watching health bars.”  ORLY? Did you notice who did NOT get blown up by the evil red circle and managed to make up for your slack for 1/3 of the fight? No?  Let me send you pictures.

Well, to be fair, he’s a weekend warrior.

After this, we decided to pay Ony a visit. A lot of old schoolers in there, but also a lot who are NOT familiar with this fight in an realistic sense. There are a couple of things we need to pay attention to, such as the run-in, and positioning.  Not to mention, as I’ve said before, that this is a 40-man boss scaled to 10 80s, and it gets a little weird when that happens.  The vets are trying to get the wierd-feeling-o-meter dialed down while the newbs are all confused and standing in fiery breath.

Good times.

So, no, I’m not sporting any tasty Ony gear this morning, but I didn’t expect to. Practice, practice.

That sound of hunter gear in the background is, by the way, Grimm preparing for a possible foray. Our GM is happy enough with our progress, and we have enough new faces, that she’s considering starting up a second group – “Naxx 2″ – on Fridays, for the new people, with alts filling in around them.  This is an odd turnaround for Grimm, but we’re all rather amused anyway.

jasra_port200After weeks of hiatus due to losing many key players, our guild made its first wobbly steps back into Naxxramas this week. Sure, go ahead, laugh. You’re taking down Yog-Sauraon or whatever using ten priests and paper forks at this point, our mere Naxx attempts are laughable.

Bah, go play in a fire somewhere, leettards.

Fact is, we’ve had a hard few weeks, but we’ve recruited from the ranks of the newly ascended, and we have some damned fine players in the batter’s box. While there is virtually nothing of value in Naxx 10 for me, I have nine guildmates that want to finish this instance in the worst way, and I’m there for them, no matter how annoying or thankless the job may be. And these people have picked up the gist of things remarkably well. It’s a lot of fun to see people that have never experienced this content do it for the first time.

We started at Heigan, who we one-shot, on-shot Loatheb, took three tries on Razevous, one-shot Noth and Four Horsemen, one-shot the entire construct wing, and two-shot Sapphiron with this crew. We took three attempts on KT, and our final attempt was 1.2%. I blame myself for letting one DPS die.

We’ll return on Monday and take this bastige out for our third ever clear of Naxx. We’re looking at Loot Leviathan…

Nice to be back raiding. Nice to see people excited over doing this thing.

jasra_port200Our guild stepped foot into Naxx last night for the first time in weeks. I think it was a combination of (a) the Naxx-25 experience aftershocks, and (b) the summer festival consuming the time of some of our more OCD officers in pursuit of flowers to buy things with.

Myself, I could not face that awful grind again. None of the clan could. So in some cases we downed quests for XP when convenient, we did not pursue the whole thing at all.

At any rate, our foray into Naxx met with some setbacks, but we cleared three wings, with only Military left.  Our newest Shadow Priest and Hunter obtained many drops, as there were few takers for the other stuff.

Unrelated but important topic …

jas_ambassadorOne thing you can say about the Argent Tournament is that, while no less grindy than normal faction grinds, at least it’s convenient. For the past few weeks I’ve been doing two valiant and two champion quests each day, and that has gotten me a shiney new title and three new mounts, the latest which you see here outside of the used Elekk dealer’s garage at The Exodar.

I have some loose ends to tie up but I am almost done with the valiant quests at this point. Then the long agonizing grind for pets and mounts.

I do it this way because I don’t want to become like some others I’ve read, who can’t bear to even look at the place anymore because they’re burnt out from running all the quests every day.  That would burn out a saint.

jasra_port200Remember when I said that one of our Heroic Naxx boss encounters demonstrated that the priest healer (me) needed to work harder or something? And that homework might be required?

I was right. Just not the way I expected.

So, we were taking on Grand Widow Faerlina. In 10 man, when she enrages, you drag one of the adds over and kill it, which clears her enrage. We were doing this. We were dragging them over, and killing them. And yet she stayed enraged.

Those of you that have cleared Naxx-25 are already laughing and pointing.  I know.

Yes, folks … in 25-man, the priest has to MC the add and cast Widows’s Embrace. The one and only priest in this 25-man raid was, in fact, sweating her butt off trying to keep the tank veritcal.

You may laugh now.

On the other hand … we did get the achievement Heroic: Momma Said Knock You Out. Booyah.

Let this be a lesson: always do your homework, and don’t assume a Heroic is just an amped-up version of the normal mode. I should know this by now.

/facepalm

Our GM pointed out that the uber leet DPS druid and warlock pugs that we had didn’t bother to point this out, either, but just left after the sixth or so wipe.   Of course, it’s possible they didn’t realize it. I’ve seen plenty of DPS that just gloss over details not relevant to pew pew pew. And I know that when Meta fires up Grimm or Flora these days, he’s usually confused on some fights because he’s only seen them through my eyes.

Well, that which does not kill us, makes us stronger.

Wait, what?

jasra_port200This weekend we attempted our first ever 25-man Naxx, with two other guilds by our side.  I think everyone is still walking around in a daze.

All that talk of “25 man is easier than 10 man” must not come from tanks and healers, I can tell you that. It illustrates just how different 25-man healing is in comparison. In the usual 10-man, I’d have my healing assignment, but I usually had leeway to toss a shield here and there, or get the frisbee in action, or whatever. About the only time I didn’t have to was for the obvious cases, such as keeping my half of the tanking team up on Patchwerk (even then, I would toss a shield to the poor shammy’s tank when I could).

But when you are MT healer on a 25 man … that’s it. You best focus, or things go down like a wet cardboard box in a hurricane.

Now, I say this, but in the end we could walk out with our heads held high. On our very first foray into Naxx, we stalled on the first boss. On our first Heroic foray … we downed two bosses. Loot was distributed, and achievements were garnered.

But, we have become enlightened as to the true reality of 25-man raiding. The tanks need to get tougher, and the healers need to be better and more focused.

We may return to 10-man raiding for a while to gear up some more before trying this again.

As Ratters might say … so now we knows.

jasra_port200It’s wonderful1  that a week after you write up a post about how wonderful your guild is and how proud you are at the accomplishment of your guildmates … a couple of divas screw it all up.

Coming off a successful run, we were plodding through Naxx a bit slower this week, nowhere where we wanted to be, and stalling in odd places. Spider wing went smartly, but Gothik gave us fits.

We picked up Saturday, and one-shot Gothik, 4 horsies, Noth, Heigan, Loatheb, and Patchwerk. I had noticed that our off-tank was getting a little happy with chain pulls but figured somebody in charge was dealing with it.

We started on Grobbulus and the OT got aggro on the boss. The MT … stepped aside. “Well if you want to MT, then MT.”  The OT basically says “I don’t need this shit” and DCs. Then the MT leaves the raid and logs.

Leaving two healers and six DPS locked up in a room with one very angry … thing.  With a hypo where his hand should be.2

So this one’s for you, my passive-agressive tanking pals: GROW THE FRAK UP.

Thank you.

  1. In some alternate universe []
  2. Afterword: Sunday we downed everything up to K’T. Same MT, different OT. No further comment. []

jasra_port200When Grimm started raiding on behalf of the clan back at Kara, and later Flora as well, each boss was a stepping stone to the next, but each was a long, difficult learning curve. I recall clearly the excitement over the guild-first kill of Attumen. They avoided Moroes like the plague, and repeatedly bashed up against the solid wall that is Maiden. Oz was surprisingly straightforward but Romulo and Julianne gave them fits. And Curator … :: shudder :: … Grimm took to the ale hard and Flora invented whole new obscenities to mutter.

Overall, it took several months from our first boss kill to a full clear, which was just before they nerfed everything.  I may have seen one or two forays into Kara before that all fell apart, but overall that was the place where our senior members shone.

Good times.

Things fell apart then, as some guildies felt that the rest of the guild was holding up their forward progress – i.e. not levelling like a fiend – and our numbers teetered on the verge of never raiding again. We perservered. After all, there were Heroics to do and gear to obtain. The GL worked like a coal miner to keep new blood coming in as others broke loose. Old faces returned – and sometimes wandered off again.

But, finally, we got critical mass. At least enough people to where we only had one or two holes to fill from allied guilds. And in we went, just a few weeks ago.We made our first attempt at our first Naxx boss, after wiping on trash en route. We wiped on the bosses, too, of course.

Shortly thereafter, we read up on strategies, and took him down. We one-shotted the next boss and wiped on Meaxxna.

A week or two later, we were fully clearing that wing with occasional wipes, and moving on to other other bosses. Military wing was our next one, and for a while Razz was our bane. One or two tries later, we got him. We stalled on Gothik until we got the balance right, then we ran full tilt into Four Horsemen and hit a brick wall. Ow.

Eventually we got that down. The last two attempts have been like silk. Meanwhile, Plague Wing awaited. One-shotted everything up to the end boss (yes, Heigan was one-shot, even if we only had three standing in the end). We sailed through Construct with a couple of stutters, but within three weeks’ time we went from stalled on Horsemen to staring at Thadd – and we one-shot him.

It took us a couple of weeks to get a handle on Sapph – and it’s still rocky – but two weeks ago we took our first shot at Kel’Thuzad.  Less than a month had passed from when we first stalled on the Horsemen.

This week we set foot into the necropolis, facing a fresh instance. We took out Anub’Rekan before the second plague swarm. We rolled over Feralina before the 3rd enrage. Maexxna went “wtf, dudes?!”  Razz saw us coming and tried to hide. Gothik teleported twice. The horsemen didn’t get the zerg treatment, but I had 20K mana left1 .  Noth, Heigan, and Gluth all fell before our wrath. And that was the first night.

The second night, Patchwerk, Gluth, and Grobbulus were all one-shots, but Thadd delayed his fate a little due to some bad jumps. But he did go down.  Sapph gave us trouble due to bad luck on the ice blocks, but went down in two or three tries.

That left us with two days to work on the big guy – normally it takes us three days to get here, but this time we had some good vibes kicking in.

Kel’Thuzad has left the building. Feet first.

It took us several tries, but we got him. Phases 2 and 3 really strike me as serious healer fights – if the healers stumble, you lose people. One of our members suggested to me that I save Pennance for those ice blocks, rather than hope for a lucky proc on flash heal, and that really seemed to turn the tide.2

Full clear, three days, two to three months after we started trying in earnest. I am so happy for our guild and especially our GL who has had to endure drama, drama, and more drama along the way.  Seriously, I don’t know why she didn’t snap, disband the guild, and retire on a beach near Zul’Gurub – it’s not like anyone visits there.

Malygos, then Ulduar, are on the horizon. We be small, but we be vicious: beware the vorpal bunnies!

  1. ”Nerf MP5!” []
  2. So: Disc priests, save Pennance and (if not on CD) PW: S (with glyph).  Personally, I go straight for Pennance as it is most likely to be available. []

jasra_port200… almost. So close. But we just ran out of time.

Our final two Construct bosses went down last night, Gluth on what was our third try (our first for the night), then one-shot Thadd FTW.

I didn’t think we stood a chance with Sapphiron, but on our 2nd or 3rd try, the old fella went down.

Then that left the Big Bad himself. We got one good shot in, got to Phase 3, and our second try failed on phase 1. At that point the early workers had to go to bed, so we broke up the raid.

But – what a week! Going into this week, we had at best taken down 5 bosses in Naxx.

Now we work on perfecting it and getting that final clear done.

jasra_port200We’ve certainly been a busy little guild. When last I spoke of such things, we had completed the Arachnid Quarter, and were one boss short of the Military Quarter.

Saturday, we crash against the wall of the Four Horsemen, again and again. Part of the problem is that I was calling the switches, and I think I was off. Eventually our two tanks took ownership of the process and we downed our first one, then the second, and moved to the back, and Oh MAI GAWD we’re gonna … WE DID IT!  Despite one of the warlocks in the back insisting that we move on because we’d never be able to do it. 1

Sunday, we find ourselves outside the entrance to the Plague Quarter. First up is Noth, and with decent DPS we brought him down before it got crazy.

heiganThen came Heigan.

You have heard of the dance. I’ve read up on the dance and watched the videos. The one person in the raid that had done this extensively took 10 minutes to explain the fight, did a good job.

Of course, we were doomed. The first dance saw five out of nine (yes we were nine-manning at this point) fall victim to the dance. Left standing: the MT, myself, a healing Shammi, and a Survival Hunter2 . We set about proving that Heigan could be taken down by such a crew … and we did.  A good 10 to 15 minutes later, we stood victorious. To commemorate this, the GM insisted that the four of us stand before the corpse while everyone else lie on the ground before us.  Clever idea.

loathebAll righty then, Loatheb! Nine-manned! Two-shot!  /flex   OK, is this a “healer fight” or a “DPS” fight? The two biggest obstacles to overcome here were (1) getting the healing timing down to fit into that 3-second window, and (2) remembering to toss some dots and use my wand during the downtime in between.

The GM is on fire now, so we’re charging hard into Construct Quarter, still nine-manning it. We decide that Patchwerk isn’t going to work on a nine-man configuration, so we get a former guildy to step in to the vacant slot3 .  No training vids now – the raid has outpaced my expectations4. We’re taking this one cold, with some instruction from our druid. After one wipe, he shifts to HoT assist mode and we are able to keep the tanks up.

Hey, look, it’s frogger!  OK, I expected a lot more pain here, to be honest. People have problems with this?  I can see lag playing a factor, but that aside, dying on this should be hard to live down.

grobbulusGrobbulus! We two-shot this one as well but I really think we need to learn more about this boss to make it go smoother, such as how to dump one’s poison bomb, and so on.  In the end we were all dead, but so was he, and we were able to loot, so we’ll take it.

We ended the evening getting omgpwned by Gluth, with the realization that we needed to read up a bit on this one and Thaddeus.

But what a night … five guild-first kills in our Naxx progression. It’s nights like this that make all the drama bearable.

oh-the-humanity-uiOh, and this final screenshot serves two purposes.

1) Hey lookies, I haz epic rug now!

2) Fuubar was commenting on his ugly UI. I offer this as evidence that it could be a lot worse. As Grimm told him:

It is the TRUE reason that bin Laden is still in hiding.

It is what actually made Romney drop out of the presidential race.

Someone at Chrysler tried using it, and see what happened there.

McG used it on his WoW account.

Christian Bale saw it.

Seriously, my UI has been weaponized. Classified. Probably going to fight the Taliban.

To which I’ll add: and we totally took down Heigan with it.

Tonight: can we finish Construct? Will Sapph be Our Little Dragon? Will K’T get revenge for Bigglesworth’s untimely demise?

  1. This is what we get for looking the other way while he pegs 25s – he starts thinking everything should be easy. /sigh. Can’t have a run without drama, can we?  At least nobody quit the guild, though our MT left the raid until the GM called him out and made him come back (good on her). []
  2. Our MT conjectures that we were probably the only ones to watch the vids as instructed. A good guess, I think. []
  3. we later found out that the DPS warrior he replaced had gone offline because the police raided a house on his block, and they killed power to the whole block []
  4. I’m in charge of finding and posting training materials on the guild site []
